Strike Update #2

December 8 to 14, 2023

The four unions representing English Montreal School Board employees, (MTA teachers, APPA support staff, educators and daycare employees, QFL caretakers and cafeteria workers, and SPPMEM professionals) have given the school board official notice that they will be on strike for five full working days, December 8 to 14 inclusively. 

As a result of this labour action between the unions and the Québec government, all elementary and high schools as well as adult and vocational classes will be cancelled on those days. In addition, please note that daycare services will not be provided on the strike days. For adult programs scheduled on the weekend, those will be cancelled as well.
